Most days it’s hard to find foods that are quick, easy and healthy. This leads to people settling for unhealthy foods, simply because it is more of a hassle to find food that is good for you. In this article i’m going to show you a healthy morning of eating and how to incorporate this lifestyle in your everyday routine.
Mornings. I find mornings the hardest to make nutritional meals because of how easy it is to throw a HotPocket or waffles in the microwave instead. For this reason I’m going to give you two super simple recipes to follow for your breakfasts. The first breakfast is my go-to meal for every morning, it is filled with all of the protein I need and surprisingly tastes so good! The ingredients are very simple and can be found at your local grocery store.
Egg Whites & Grilled Chicken
- Egg whites
- Organic Cut Chicken
- Ketchup or Any Sauce That You Prefer
First I defrost the chicken by placing it into the microwave for about a minute. Next, I heat up the stove on medium to high heat and throw the chicken into the pan. As I stir the chicken for 30 seconds, I then pour my egg whites into the pan and stir some more! Once the egg is cooked, I take it off the stove and pour it into a bowl and then add ketchup!
Acai Breakfast Bowl
If you get tired of Chicken and Eggs like myself then you’ll love this recipe. Acai Bowl’s are delicious for any time of the day but is especially nutritious.
- 1/2 Banana, frozen
- 1 1/2 cups Berries, frozen mixed
- 1/4 cup Blueberries
- 2 Strawberries
- 1/4 cup Granola
- 2 tbsp Almonds
- 1 1/3 tbsp Chia seed
- 2 tbsp Coconut shavings, unsweetened raw or toasted
- 1 cup of Almond Milk or Coconut Milk
Put the chia seeds, milk and frozen berries and banana in a blender and mix until smooth. Then pour it into a bowl then the add strawberries, coconut shavings , granola, almonds. Once you’ve put all of your ingredients into the bowl you’re set! Serve chilled for best taste!
